What we collect

When you fill in our contact form or place a phone order, we record your name, email address, phone number, delivery suburb and whatever message you send us. That’s it.

Our website is statically generated. We don’t set tracking cookies, run analytics fingerprinting, or load third-party advertising scripts.

What we do with it

• Use it to confirm and fulfil your order.
• Reply to your enquiry by phone or email.
• Keep a record so we can serve you better next time (e.g. preferred delivery instructions).

Who we share it with

Nobody beyond the team here at The Fruit Basket and the email service we use to receive enquiries (Outlook). If you place an order via our partner platform A Better Choice, their privacy policy applies to that interaction.

How we store it

Order details are kept in our standard business records, the same way any small grocer keeps their order book. Email messages stay in our Outlook inbox. We don’t use a CRM that profiles you, and we don’t append your information to marketing lists without explicit opt-in.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act, you can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Update anything that’s wrong.
• Delete your information from our records (other than what we’re legally required to keep).

Cookies

We don’t set any non-essential cookies. The only thing your browser stores from this site is the standard Astro view-transition animation state, which is technical not personal.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. The current version is dated 1 May 2026.
